1. Overview

BeyondSnap is a scrolling screenshot extension for Google Chrome. It lets you select an area of a webpage, scroll beyond the visible screen, and save the result as one continuous PNG image.

BeyondSnap does not sell personal information and does not upload captured screenshots or webpage content to BeyondSnap servers.

2. Screenshot processing

The webpage area you explicitly choose to capture is processed locally in the browser to create your screenshot. The resulting image is saved only when you choose Save.

Captured webpage content is not transmitted to BeyondSnap or Lemon Squeezy for advertising, analytics, profiling, or resale.

3. Local browser storage

BeyondSnap uses Chrome local extension storage for:

• The number of successfully completed free captures.
• Local extension settings.
• Your locally stored license key, Lemon Squeezy license instance ID, a randomly generated local device identifier, and the time of the most recent successful license validation.

Cancelled or failed captures do not consume a free capture.

4. License activation and Lemon Squeezy

After purchasing a Lifetime License, you may choose to activate BeyondSnap with the license key issued by Lemon Squeezy.

For activation and periodic validation, BeyondSnap sends the following information to Lemon Squeezy over HTTPS:

• The license key you enter.
• A generated instance name containing a short random device identifier and basic Chrome platform information.
• The Lemon Squeezy license instance ID on later validation requests.

Lemon Squeezy uses this information to verify the license and enforce the activation limit. BeyondSnap currently allows one license to be activated on up to two computers.

The Lemon Squeezy License API response can contain order and customer metadata associated with the license. BeyondSnap uses the response to verify that the key belongs to the BeyondSnap product and does not store customer name or email from that response.

5. Payments

Purchases are completed on Lemon Squeezy's website, not inside the BeyondSnap extension. Payment details are provided directly to Lemon Squeezy and are not received or stored by BeyondSnap.

6. Chrome permissions

• activeTab — accesses the active webpage when you initiate a capture.
• scripting — runs the BeyondSnap capture interface and capture logic on the active webpage.
• downloads — saves completed screenshots as PNG files when you choose Save.
• storage — stores local trial, settings, and license state.
• https://api.lemonsqueezy.com/* — communicates with the Lemon Squeezy License API for license activation and validation.

7. Remote code and analytics

BeyondSnap does not download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. Communication with Lemon Squeezy is used only for license activation and validation.

BeyondSnap does not use captured content for advertising, analytics, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated if BeyondSnap's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
